Do you think sex-ed is important for kids these days?

I highly apporve for sex-ed classes b/c from left to right you see kids getting pregnant and all they were taught was only abstinence. Obviously, hormones are over the walls and kids do what they want, sometimes without even thinking. Why aren't these kinds of classes in schools anyway?
